England Women qualified for the final of the Women's Quadrangular Twenty20 International series with a 22-run win over world champions Australia.

Captain Charlotte Edwards top scored with 43 in as many ball as England scored 136 for six with Sarah Taylor making 25 on 22 balls.

Australia were then bowled out for 114 with only Meg Lanning (33) making much progress as Danielle Wyatt took three for ten with Katherine Brunt, Arran Brindle, Holly Colvin and Laura Marsh taking a wicket apiece. Scorecard

In the other match, Liz Perry hit an unbeaten 48 in 41 balls to set up New Zealand's 25-run win.

The White Ferns reached 125 for five before India closed on 100 for seven as Nicola Browne returned figures of two for 17. Scorecard

Brunt Bowls England To Series Victory

Lydia Greenway scored a half-century and Katherine Brunt took five wickets to underpin a 34-run victory for England Women over Australia Women in the One-Day International quadrangular series final at Wormsley. Greenway scored 58 and Sarah Taylor 43 before England were restricted to 230 for eight but they hit back to dismiss Australia for 196 with Brunt returning career-best figures of five for 18.

India Win Low-Scorer To Take Third-Place Finish

India Women won a low-scoring Quadrangular One-Day International series game against New Zealand at Aston Rowant to clinch third place in the competition. They were bowled out for 150 but ended the day strongly as they dismissed New Zealand for 118 as the White Ferns ended the tour with a fourth place finish - just as they did in the Twenty20 series.

Goswami Heroics In Vain As New Zealand Prevail

Jhulan Goswami returned figures of six for 31 - the seventh-best figures in Women's One-Day International cricket - but New Zealand still beat India by 39 runs at Southgate. Goswami became the second Indian, after Mamatha Maben, to take six wickets in an ODI as New Zealand were held to 201 for eight but India could only reach 162 for nine in reply.

Australia End England's Unbeaten Run

Australia Women ended England Women's unbeaten run with a comprehensive seven-wicket victory at Lord's to lay down a marker ahead of the two side's repeat meeting in the final at Wormsley. England's batting, up until now a huge strength, was undone as they were dismissed for 168 and half-centuries from Alex Blackwell and Shelley Nitschke saw Australia past their target with 15 overs to spare.

Pradhan Reported For Suspected Illegal Bowling Action

Indian bowler Snehal Pradhan has been reported because of a suspected illegal bowling action, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed. The medium pacer was reported by on-field umpires Jeff Evans and Graham Lloyd following the end of the Quadrangular Series One-Day International between India and England in Derby.

England And Australia Remain Unbeaten

England continued their impressive winning run with a 58-run victory over New Zealand in the Women's Quadrangular One-Day International series in Derby. They will now play Australia in the final after their three-wicket win over India set up a repeat of the final of the Twenty20 Quadrangular series last month.
