Australian Michael Beer is bowled by Chris Tremlett and England claim a first Ashes series win in Australia for 24 years, ending a period in which Australia have been close to unbeatable on home soil.
England dismissed Australia for 281 in their second innings at the Sydney Cricket Ground to win by an innings and 83 runs, in the process clinching a 3-1 series victory.
They also scored innings victories in Adelaide and Melbourne. The opening Test in Brisbane was drawn while the third match, in Perth, saw Australia win by 267 runs.
