The England Women’s Cricket Team attended a reception at 10 Downing St. 

Captain Charlotte Edwards and her team were hosted by Prime Minister Gordon Brown who paid tribute to their three months of unprecedented international success: winning the ICC Women's World Cup, winning the ICC World Twenty20, a 4-0 win over Australia in the Natwest One-Day International Series and a draw in the one-off Test Match to retain the Ashes.

The England team were 'accompanied' to 10 Downing Street by the ICC World Cup, the ICC World Twenty20 trophy, the NatWest ODI series trophy and the npower Ashes.
