Marsh would then match those figures and Danielle Wyatt took two for 18 as England hit back to bowl out Sri Lanka in exactly 20 overs.

Inoka Galagedara made 28 but lacked support as the Sri Lankans lost eight wickets for the addition of 47 runs following a steady start.

England won the opening match in the series by eight wickets.
