The Twenty20 International between England and South Africa, scheduled to take place at The Riverside tomorrow, has been abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch.

ICC Match Referee Roshan Mahanama took the early decision to abandon the match after consultation with Durham officials.

Last week's County Championship match at the ground between Durham and Nottinghamshire was also washed out.

The two teams will now turn their attentions to the opening One Day International at Headingley on Friday.
