England will host Sri Lanka in May and June next year to play a Twenty20 International, five One-Day Internationals and two Tests.
The tour will begin with the Twenty20 game at The Kia Oval on 20th May, where the two sides will begin the ODI series two days later.
The ODI series moves on to Chester-le-Street, Manchester, Lord's and Edgbaston before the two Tests will be hosted by Lord's and Headingley.
Sri Lanka last toured England in 2011, losing both the Tests (1-0) and ODIs (3-2) before winning the Twenty20 Internationals 1-0.
They will play a series of tour games but these fixtures and venues are yet to be confirmed.
"We look forward to welcoming Sri Lanka again to this country and anticipate that they will provide strong opposition for England in all formats of the game in what promises to be another hugely exciting programme of international cricket next summer with Sri Lanka and India as our touring teams," England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Chief Executive David Collier said.
