England Trio To Cap A Real Family Affair At Old Trafford

Andrew Flintoff, Sajid Mahmood and James Anderson have all been included in Lancashire's squad for Sunday's Friends Provident Trophy game against Northamptonshire at Old Trafford.

A noticeable absentee in the 14-man squad is Stuart Law, who has been rested ahead of next week's LV County Championship fixture against Hampshire. Law, who was instrumental in Lancashire's 7-wicket victory over Surrey, has been carrying a Calf injury for the past fortnight, and Cricket Manager Mike Watkinson fells Stuart needs to get himself 100% fit for the Rose Bowl.

Friends Provident and Lancashire CCC have teamed up to make this Sunday's game at Old Trafford a family affair. All Kids go Free with a paying adult (max 3 kids u16), there will be face painting, t-shirt giveaways and the new Team poster will be handed out.

Tickets are available at the Lancashire Ticket Office from 9am on Sunday, with the game starting at 10:45am.

Muttiah Muralitharan is not expected to be back in time to play in Lancashire's next County Championship against Hampshire. In today's Press Conference, Mike Watkinson says: "Due to a delay in the Sri Lankan team getting to Colombo from the World Cup, its touch and go whether he (Muttiah) will be back in time for Hampshire; it's more
likely that he will arrive during the match, not before."
