England and Sussex wicket-keeper Sarah Taylor, considered by many to be the best women's cricketer in the world, has joined Gunn & Moore's Team GM.

In the summer of 2009 she became a double World Cup winner having played key roles in England’s 50 and 20-over successes, both home and away and has to date played in four Test Matches, 77 One-Day Internationals and 46 Twenty20 Internationals.

"I am delighted to be joining Team GM and look forward to working with them to develop not only my own career but also the women’s game in general, which is really flourishing at the moment," Taylor said.

Apart from her success in the women’s game, Sarah signed for Walmley Cricket Club earlier this season and could make history should she play for Sussex 2nd XI after moves were made earlier this year to afford her the opportunity.

Peter Wright, Gunn & Moore's Managing Director added: "It is a source of great pride that Sarah has chosen Gunn & Moore and we are committed to play our part in helping her continue her incredible career. She is a not only a talented cricketer but also a great Ambassador for the sport and a role model for all aspiring young cricketers."
