Essex Announce Squad For Durham Semi-Final

Essex Eagles have named a 13-man squad for the Friends Provident Trophy semi-final against Durham Dynamos at the Riverside on Wednesday (June 20).

England batsman Alastair Cook has been made available by the ECB to return to county duty, subject to fitness. All-rounder Ravinder Bopara is unavailable after picking up a left thigh strain on Sunday during the LV County Championship match against Middlesex.

Graham Napier and Tim Phillips are also added to the remaining 10 on duty at Lord’s.

Mark Pettini continues to deputise as Captain for knee-injury victim Ronnie Irani.
