On Thursday 30th August the Ford County Ground Chelmsford hosted the final Essex disability club festival of the summer.
The festival saw teams from Springfield CC, Harold wood CC and Merstham Cricket club from Surrey who also made the drive up for the day.

The format of the day was 6-a-side kwik cricket, as Springfield were able to raise 2 teams the festival was played as a 4 team competition with each team playing each other once in a mini league.

After 3 rounds of close and competitive games, Harold wood came out as overall winners of the festival.

The festival brings to a close another successful summer of disability cricket. Sadly the weather has had a big impact on the amount we have been able to play this summer but extra festivals were added to make up for some of the cancellations.

Unfortunately the weather meant the Essex disability club league did not get completed this year, the league features some of the 8 disability clubs in Essex giving them the chance to play against each other in a competitive format.
