Essex Enjoy Twenty20 Cup Ticket Boom

Essex County Cricket Club has announced their two Friday night Twenty20 Cup matches at The Ford County Ground are now sold out.

‘House Full’ signs will be going up for the fixtures between Essex Eagles and Sussex Sharks on Friday June 22 along with Essex Eagles and Kent Spitfires on Friday June 29.

Tickets are also selling fast for the two remaining home Twenty20 Cup games at Chelmsford against Surrey Brown Caps on Thursday June 28 and Hampshire Hawks on Thursday July 5.

Both matches are expected to sell out in advance so spectators are strongly advised to order their tickets soon.

They are available in person from the Administration Office at The Ford County Ground, over the phone on 01245 254010 or via the Essex CCC website at www.essexcricket.org.uk

Essex CCC Chief Executive David East said: “Once again the Essex membership and cricket fans have rushed to see what is becoming one of the greatest spectacles of the summer sporting calendar. I really urge people not to miss out on these great occasions by booking the remaining tickets for our Thursday night fixtures as soon as possible.”

Further updates on ticket availability will appear on the Essex CCC website at www.essexcricket.org.uk

With tickets now at a premium for the Twenty20 Cup, there will be a further opportunity to catch 20-over action at The Ford County Ground in August and September.

Essex Eagles will be aiming to retain the Twenty20 Floodlit Cup when they take on Derbyshire Phantoms and PCA Masters in this year’s tournament.

The Eagles have three home matches this year (all at Chelmsford with 7.00pm starts):

Essex Eagles v Derbyshire Phantoms – Tuesday August 28

Essex Eagles v PCA Masters – Tuesday September 11

Essex Eagles v PCA Masters – Thursday September 13

Essex members are advised that their priority period for discounted tickets expires on Monday July 9. Meanwhile, tickets at full price are available now from the Administration Office at The Ford County Ground, over the phone on 01245 254010 or via the Essex CCC website at www.essexcricket.org.uk
