Essex Name Squad For Middlesex Championship Match

Essex have named a 12-man squad for their LV County Championship match against Middlesex at Lord’s, starting on Friday.

Fast bowler Alex Tudor returns to the squad for the first time since sustaining an abdominal strain during the Championship match at Northampton at the start of May.

Tudor is added to the XI who featured in Wednesday’s Friends Provident Trophy match against Somerset at The Ford County Ground – victory in which secured the County’s place in next week’s semi-final away to Durham.

Essex have no new injury worries going into the game.
