Essex News Ahead Of Gloucestershire Match

Essex Eagles have named a 13-man squad for tonight’s NatWest Pro40 match against Gloucestershire Gladiators at The Ford County Ground.

Varun Chopra and Graham Napier are added to the XI who featured in the LV County Championship win at Derby, which finished on Saturday.

Ravinder Bopara and Alastair Cook are both away with England during their ODI series with India.

Essex have no new injury problems going into a crucial game for both teams in their battle to avoid the drop from Division One.

Play is scheduled to get underway at 4.40pm. Tickets for non-members cost £17 for adults and £8.50 for juniors.
