Essex Set For Durham Clash

Essex Eagles have been drawn to meet Durham Dynamos in the Friends Provident Trophy semi-final at the Riverside next Wednesday (June 20).

The Eagles finished second in the South Conference by virtue of victory in their final match against Somerset Sabres and the defeat of Kent Spitfires, who had previously occupied second spot, at home to Gloucestershire Gladiators.

Tickets for the semi final went on sale at 9.00am on Thursday 14 June. A temporary Box Office has been set up outside the Riverside ground at Gate 5 for spectators to purchase tickets. Tickets will also be available online at www.durhamccc.co.uk

Adult Members (Durham only) will be able to purchase a ticket for £5 and each Junior Member (Durham only) can buy their ticket for just £1.

Adult tickets are priced at £6 (£12 on the day) and junior tickets are £3 (£5 on the day)

Tickets can also be purchased over the phone by calling the Box Office on 0870 389 1991 however the Box Office is currently receiving a high volume of calls regarding the Test Match, and our customers patience is appreciated.

Nearest train stations are: Chester le Street, Durham and Newcastle

Airport: Newcastle or Durham Tees Valley

Car Parking: Available around the ground (but not in the ground). This is on a pay and display basis and operated by Chester le Street Council and not Durham CCC.

Please note: there will be no reserve day for this match (if it is not possible for both teams to receive the minimum of 10 overs necessary to constitute a match, the match shall be decided by a bowl out).

Play is scheduled to get underway at 10.45am.
