Essex Team News Ahead Of Nottinghamshire Clash

Essex Eagles have named a 13-man squad for their NatWest Pro40 match against Nottinghamshire Outlaws at Trent Bridge today (Wednesday, August 15).

Ravinder Bopara plays his last match for Essex before joining up with England for one-day duty (starting with Saturday’s England Lions match against India at Northampton).

Meanwhile, all England players who appeared in the 3rd npower Test Match and are also in The NatWest Series squad (including Essex’s Alastair Cook) will be rested from domestic cricket until the start of the tournament next Tuesday (August 21) at The Rose Bowl.

Tom Westley is also unavailable for the Eagles as he is part of the England Under-19s squad for their five-match ODI Series v Pakistan U-19 (beginning today, Wednesday August 15, with the final game on Thursday August 23).
