Farbrace Reportedly Approached By Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has reportedly approached Paul Farbrace with a view to him becoming their assistant coach.

He had an initial round of talks with CEO Duleep Mendis and the secretary K.
Mathivanan some days ago. His name is likely to have been recommended by Sri Lanka's new coach Trevor Bayliss.

Farbrace, 40, has been coaching at Kent County Cricket Club for the last four years. Prior to this, he was a coach for both the England under-17 and the under-19 teams. He was also a coach for the English women's team in 2000.

Farbrace was a right hand batsman but played many of his matches as a wicketkeeper for Middlesex and Kent teams.
