Final West Indies-Australia Game Abandoned

The final game in the blind cricket international series between the West Indies and Australia was abandoned after Australia, sent in to bat, scored 204 for two off 20 overs.  Top scorer was Linzey Heavens (91).

Set 203 off 20 overs the West Indies were six without loss after three balls when the rains came and made the ground unsafe for further play.

The player of the series was Matthew McCathy who scored 165 runs and bagged seven wickets.

In his closing remarks WICCB president Clevedon Mayers issued a challenge to the West Indies conventional team to play a game against our boys.
