Flintoff Set For Low-Key Return To Action

All-rounder Andrew Flintoff is set to return to action after having a third operation on his troublesome ankle, playing for Lancashire's second eleven against Derbyshire at Blackpool.

He will play as a specialist batsman after the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) made him available for the match, with Flintoff hopeful of avoiding any further injury setbacks.

He has so far made promising progress after surgery and is targetting a return to England colours for the one-day series with India, which starts on August 21st.
