What a pointless exercise , whilst I thought Garner a top bowler , he most certainly is not the best ever!

I expect the lad is highly embarrassed by it all.

You change criteria and there would be entirely a different list before your eyes.

I just can't believe that list of top 10,

It's crazy Shan , but if it tells us anything , it's not to take rankings too seriously.

hmmmmmmmmmm is the ICC for real, while these guys are all excellent in their own right, how can they miss out Marshall, Walsh, and Lillee ?????

also, bit off topic, but in relation to the comparison between lee & ahktar, take note of the quality of the bowlers surrounding each player as well. He is bowling with the No.1 & No.3 highest wicket takers of all time, and another bloke who has taken 250+ wickets!!! Who does ahktar have ???? noone of late, and while early in his career he bowled with waqar, waqar was definetly not at his best!!!

5-0 You Beauty!!!!!

Thanks for the many fantastic memories Marto, Langer, Warney & Pidg

Right Sledger! not to take the rankings too seriously, but still one wonders what are they upto.

And Clapo, Shoaib is a terrific bowler with a lot of potential, could be one of the best, but he's having a lot of problems with his attitude and was rarely serious about his game. And now when he got serious for a while, injuries have surronded him once again. He is a bit unlucky, I must say.

Brett Lee on the other hand has always been serious about his career, and he still is.

I've great respect for Shoaib Shan and if England are going to beat Pakistan starting next month , the batters will have to cope with the big fella!

I'm still having nightmares , seeing him knock over our top batsmen with that super slow ball!!

Muralitharan is a nose ahead of Warne, when it comes to statistics. But I have always ranked the two at par, both equally lethal capable of destroying the opposition.

This too is a bit off topic, but since ICC ranking of all time great bowlers has really disturbed me, so it's easy to blame ICC for I getting off the topic.

Unless of course we know the criteria, may be the criteria was 6 foot, tall, played before 90ies, must have I in the name spelling, should have smoked, may have lived in england, and atleast taken a wicket in first test match of his career, now you can have easily a list of your favourites.

so far so good!

Righto! but he's having some serious problems with his ankle, not fully recovered yet. He's been stopped by the docs from further training. I don't know if he's gonna make it for series against England.

you all think the icc is mad, this even makes them more stupid.

In their top 10 batting list, tendulkar isn't (not even in the top 20 either) there but ponting & hayden is. In the top 20 bowling list, warnie is 16th. Total crap from the Icc. We really have to plan a coup on um .

In troubled times, being philosophical helps a great deal, it helps you to remain sane and not do any further damage.
