The only sport you get to talk rubbish during play (Sledging that is)

The one sport where you don't have to be an overpayed moron or a meathead to play.

He wasn't overpaid to my way of thinking Bondy , he's the finest exponent of legspin that the game's ever seen.

What I think Tykey was hitting on was the obscene amounts of dosh that very average footballers take home and I also think that Warnie would leave your top footballer dead when it came to intelligence!  Here's a question for you - tell me the last footballing interview you heard without "you know" in every sentence!
Mental disintegration works for me !!

No I agree. Was just being a toss, Warne is not stupid. He just doesn't think sometime...or, at least when he does, it's not with his head!

Same here with rugby and especially league. You wonder how the coach deals with it!!! Too little emphasis placed on a sporting person's intelligence and ability to listen. Both very important mental aspects when coming to applying game plans, ect.
Good one Graham!

I think footballers are paid way too much!! I just hope that cricket never turn out like football (soccer).

Can't see it happening overnight, nor in the long-term. Though it does depend on the quality of the ICC and those who pour money into cricket, intentions.

Good one Graham!

To be honest it's what cricket needs. Money, copious spectators and player glory was always going to find its way into cricket; let the 20twenty and one-day events be extravagant- at least the stadiums will fill up! But, and this is a big but, let's hope it doesn't effect the beautiful game that is, test cricket.
Good one Graham!

Another reason cricket is the best sport.... The NZ players don't do a haka.

Looks pretty daft in Rugby!
When you win the toss - bat.
If you are in doubt, think about it - then bat. If you have very big doubts, consult a colleague - then bat.

Kiwi's are daft, well at least the ones who are always smashing their heads into other players and tackling each other

Jokes, I love my Kiwi neighbours

Are you sure they like you though.

Cricket can be played in so many forms and is very popular with the younger kids seeing as thier mothers don't want them getting tackled.

Haha, we beat you guys the other day. Oi, what happened in the 2003 World Cup ... Kiwis are still better, but I must say we can still win.

It's one sport where there is a lot of variation. Like ODI, test, twenty twenty. With football there's just one basic way of playing the sport. At least I think so because I really don't know a lot about football.
