Younis Khan has just been run out by Yuvraj Singh for 199 against Inida in the 1st test. Bad luck mate, sorry you missed out.

Other fellas that I can think of who have been stranded on 199 or 299 are: -

  • Stephen Waugh 199 vs WI
  • Matthew Elliot 199 vs Eng
  • Sir Donald Bradman 299 NOT OUT vs RSA
  • Martin Crowe 299 vs SL
  • Younis Khan 199 vs India
  • Hanif Mohammed 499 in 1st class match.

I cannot think of any  others but there are quite a few players who got out in their 190s aswell, some more then once aswell.

See you later Gilly! Thanks for the memories!

PAKISATN ARE ONLY THE 3rd team to have 4 players reach 100, i know NZ did it once against Aust, but Pak are teh third team to do it. I think Akmal 100 was the best one, YOunis, ZYousuf and Afridi all played very well.

See you later Gilly! Thanks for the memories!

I can't believe that Younis Khan got run out on 199. Was it his fault or the other guys fault.

He set off for a single, but Afridi didn't see him as Kumble (the bowler) was in his way and he didn't have time to sacrifice himself or make his ground. That's what he said, anyway. No-one's fault really, as had Afridi seen Younis running he would probably have said 'no' or run but if he didn't see him, I suppose you could say it's Kumble's fault.

The 45 boundaries Sehwag has hit beats the Indian record for the number of hits to the fence, Previous best was 44 Laxman hit during his epic innings of 281 at the Eden!  how goods that

At the pace Sehwag is playing, it looks like he's going to go past Lara's 400*.

Looks like day 5 is going to get cancelled and Sehwag will be left stranded on 247*. He won't reach a triple century or break Lara's record.

Well, that's good. I never want anyone to break the great Brian Lara's record of 400*.

I can't believe it. The poor guy missed out twice on a double century. I guess that will just motivate him even more to do even better and get that double century that he deserves.
Regulation without integration leads to suicide.

He joins Michael Vaughan in twice scoring 190+ against India. Vaughan managed 195 and 197 a few years back.

Vaughnan, Gibbs and Younis are guys who have had trouble in the 190's a few times. Waugh in the 90's aswell as Rahul and a few oithers like SLats.
