I don't see any difference between a squash ball, a little metal spring, a chunk of steak, a section of padding or anything else you could fix to the underside of your glove. There's no law that I'm aware of that regulates what constitutes a batting glove.
| In that we are agreed, but then this was never a discussion of the laws, something else you have presumed.

I should also have said that I don't see how there is anything implied or in the spirit of the laws that would suggest a squash ball in the glove would not be welcome. In that we apparently disagree.

I find the racial overtones in your post particularly unwelcome, but
typical. I am not Asian, yet I am able to see the broader picture - do
you consider me an Asian sympathiser? Pathetic point, poorly made and
you should retract it. |
No, I think you probably fall into the second category, the "others who are always desperate to try and put one over Australia". I am interested though, if my generalisation that Asians are fond of grand cricketing conspiracy theories against them is so unwelcome, what is the difference between that and your repeated and far more overt generalisations about the 'Australian psyche'?
