sorry to have joined late, but 5 is the most, infact with injuries to players so common these days, their should be atleast two days between matches, so a series finishes in 15 days. Infact this should be made part of the itinery by ICC not to allow more than five matches in a series. I think its time to uniform every series, five tests and 3 ODI and 3 tests and 5 ODI alternatively on home and away basis amongst all nations, such a way each team plays 8 tests and 8 odi againt each rival country in two years itinary.
so far so good!

Now that's sensible!! Of course, it's too much to ask our beloved ICC to implement something so simple.

well you are right, becos a lot of other things govern the decision and prevent uniformity, its media, and money, rivalry etc etc. See to have a five test series between england australia or India pakistan is lucrative but to have a similar one between west indies and newzealand might not get a lot of sponsors. But to avoid an eventual burn out a uniformity will have to be adopted, infact even a few cricket boards have started to monopolize the game, indians not fielding a full strength team in ICC trophy, ausies may consider to skip it, not to give a single tour to bangladesh in next 20 years etc etc.
so far so good!

3 odi's 7 tests maybe wish ful thinking but there are far to many odi's on. 3 is enough it means that both teams give their best over the 3 unless of course it's the world xi vs australia
The First Century I ever saw was Heschelle Gibbs' 228 against Pakistan

Hi guys how are we all. Its Jeanette here.

I think that three one day matches is ok, then its not such a strain on the players as it is a much more athletic game than the test cricket therfore much more of a strain on the players bodies.

I'm actualy after a one day match.  Its the Eng v Bangladesh match witch was played on 21st june 2005 at trent bridge.  I know you can't get it commercally, but does anyone happen to have a recording of it, let me know please thanks
