Ponting will end up with every batting record bar the average by the time he retires but it is how he manages first this aging list and then the transitional one that is soon approaching.</P><P>Lose Gilchrist, Lanhger, Hayden, Martyn, Warne, McGrath and Ponting will still have a better list than Border inherited.</P>]]>

Waugh was more aggressive than Ponting! I remember times where the new ball was taken and you couldn't have find a gap between the keeper and Gully. You hardly see that from Punter!</P><P>Waugh is one of the best skippers I have seen.</P>]]>
