I get hit alot mainly on the thigh but when it is on the off side I usaully get good contact. Seeing as I am quite a weak batsman I think I it surprises the bowler and messes up their length. The main reason I charge seamers is because I can only play with a straight bat (I can't cut or pull) so it helps me score runs. So is it ok?

I also need help with legside shots like the leg glane, pull on drive thanks.

Best advice I can give you is to play with soft hands, a straight bat wherever possible and play with the spin. Knocking it into the gaps will keep the runs ticking over and places more pressure on the bowler.
Then when the pressure is on the bowler one of two things will happen.

1. They'll start to pitch shorter in an attempt to get some dot balls or find an edge. This will give you room to come down the wicket a bit and width to swing your arms through the ball.

2. They'll pitch the same length but wider in an attempt to find an edge. This will give you the width needed to free your arms but does carry an added risk of the edge. Best way to prevent the edge is to drive with the spin and angling the bat down slightly so if it does take an edge it will drop short or may even slide through the slip cordon.

At the moment I am having problems with the cut shot. Could anyone give me any tips?

I think this is much more useful than trying to become an all-round batsman just yet

I think if you're having problems with the Left Arm Over the wicket bowlers, you should generally play the ball through mid off through to the covers if its an angled ball or a wide one.

If he's swinging the ball into your body then you should watch the ball closely and play with the swing. When I play a Left Arm over the wicket bowler, I usually play the ball that is angled towards the slips, I play it through the mid off region and if it's swinging in, well I play with the swing.

Just work on playing the bowler accordingly and it will cement into your subconcsious mind.
