That performance was Chris Martin's comeback at Eden Park against South Africa in 2003/2004. He took 6/54 in the first innings and finished up with 11/180 and in the process single-handedly destroyed the confidence of the South African batsman. Only Simon Doull against India a few years earlier and Richard Hadlee's 15 wickets against Australia in Brisbane in the 80's come close for me. I'm a swing bowler so I guess that makes me a little biased, but if you ever find a video clip of Martin's effort you would not see a better example of swing bowling for a very long time.<br><br>Mind you, when the ball isn't swinging he is largely ineffective... <br><br>~A.G.~<br><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Alieaz - 24 January 2007 at 1:35pm</span>]]>
