You could almost make a team of the greatest left handers of all time to beat the right handers! Three of the greatest batsmen ever are lefties, lara, sobers n pollock]]>

Have nz produced any decent batsmen? I guess you could say martin crowe but hes not exactly that great. So many openers seem to be left handers too which is odd considering so few people are actually left handed. Milks top 3 are all lefties. Add smith,&nbsp;cook, gayle and the 2 million left handed openers&nbsp;in aus s recent history and theres more lefties then right. amazing!&nbsp;]]>

Smith has been injured a great deal of late and you can't include him. Other than that there aren't a lot of top form and talented openers at the moment. Gayle has his moments, Dilshan is opening now and doing marvellously, while NZ and Pak are really struggling with finding good openers.]]>

Strauss? hes there or there abouts. Smith? well smith produces the goods but not quite often enough although he usually leaves his best work for england. Id go for mt sehwag simply due to his monster scores. Such a pity he didn't get his third triple. ]]>
