Many kiwi's have a love/hate relationship with Fleming, It's so infuriating when we really need a good opening, and he gets out for 3 or something stupid. Good batsman, but his conversion rate, i.e the amount of hundreds he gets compared to fifties holds him back when we consider him among the real greats of our era - Ponting, Dravid, Kallis, Tendulkar etc.

That said, his conversion rate of hundreds to doubles is very impressive.
