Saw 'Goldeneye' recently, not a huge fan of Bond movies but i really like that one. I haven't been to the Cinema since my 2nd year at University. It's gotten to the point where it is prohibitively expensive now.

I dug out my DVD of 'Cabin Fever' the other evening. If you're not familiar with it it's Eli 'Hostel' Roth's first major film and in my opinion is far better that his more recent work. It is somewhat more traditional in terms of horror than Hostel is and is more focussed on the characters/story rather than visuals/gore.

Recommended if you A) enjoy horror and B) if you are a fan of movies such as The Evil Dead, The Hills Have Eyes and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre..

Went to the cinema for the first time in about 5 years over the Bank Holiday weekend (also went to IKEA for the first time but that's another story) to see the Inbetweeners movie which had been highly recommended to me.

Unfortunately it didn't really live up to the hype for me. Lots of clichés and childish humour - which meant it was just like an extended episode. It did have two or three very funny moments but I'll give it a 6 out of 10.

The whole cinema experience wasn't great either - £9 for a ticket, not particularly comfortable seats and I got to drive all the way there and back and I bought too many jelly beans which were of a poor quality so felt a bit sick afterwards as well.

(I'll probably be appearing on Grumpy Old Men before you know it)

We went to the cinema yesterday without a clue as to what was on.  We got there at 10am and 7 out of the 8 films had already started , so we took in the only one left - The Beaver with Mel Gibson and Jodi Foster.  The theme of a top business executive suffering chronic depression and only being able to communicate via a glove puppet (the beaver) was interesting and quietly amusing as well.  Gibson used an Aussie accent for the beaver , which proved to me that his "natural" voice is an affected one! 
             The film was okay , a but slushy in a typical American way , but watchable. Jodi Foster directed , which was a surprise - I'm unsure if this was her first attempt. Lots of facial close ups of agonised expressions got a little tiresome , but a decent film.   6-10

Recently watched Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy.  Loved Bourne Identity better, 2 good action movies.  Recently watched Red Heat as well with Arnold Schwarzennegger haha, was good action.  Had to laugh because Schwarzennegger is one big tough fella i'd never like to fight haha. 
 
Anybody reckon if Schwarzennegger was playing Cricket that he would have hit a ball from one country to the next?

 Oh trust me spin where I come from I've seen even worse. Some of the old hindi movies would beat all of that hands down. Big smile  Though I'll still say, was a little disappointed with Knight and Day. And I say that without wearing my critic's hat. I loved Dark Knight, hope this new one here can be as good.
 
I watched "knight and Day" last night.  Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.  Good action movie for people who can take things on the lighter side, as some of the scenes were Cruise is out in the open firing shots and not getting hit is not so much the same in reality - if you take it serious, you'd say the movie is stupid.  Lighten up and it will be a good watch.

I love Beetlejuice, quite like edward scissorhands..

Do you like his animation?  The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favourite films, and i really like Corpse Bride.  Sleepy Hollow, also one i really like, as well as..

Have you seen 'Vincent'?  It's only a short animation, one of his first i think, it's good.

He produced James and the Giant Peach as well, love that film!

Angry Yes!  LOL I really enjoyed TDK, never actually saw the whole of Begins, and liked quite a few of the older ones.  I actually caught the trailer online, taken down 5 minutes later, and it doesn't give a lot away.

Burton's batman was one of my older favourites, i'm quite a fan of his style of work though to be honest..

  The concept of Ghajini was ripped off straight out of an English flick called Memento, but both have been made in totally distinct ways.

I just saw Ghajini, another Indian movie , starring Aamir Khan I believe.  Has no one watched Transformers III yet?? Had watched it weekend. Have never been too keen on it but went for it anyways. Thought it was better than the second. 6/10

 Also went for an Indian movie 'Delhi Belly'. For those who can follow the language its a must see (Hindi Version). Came out with a smile on my face.  8.5/10  There's also an English version of the movie, I hear its equally good for others interested. Haven't watched it myself so won't preach on it yet.

 I'm sure there many out there waiting for the last of the Potter series.
