At the time bowler starts his runup  the stands of the batsman decides whether he is a RHB or LHB. Irrespective of the shot he plays or the position he posess he will remain to be the RHB/LHB untill the ball becomes dead. I disagree with that, id say it would help the batsman ALOT more because if it is pitched between the lines he knows if it doesnt cut off, that it is going to hit his wicket.

      No doubt lines would help the umpire , but they'd help the bowler a lot more.

The off side of the batsmen is decided the by his stance the moment the ball becomes in play ie: when the run up starts, so if he does as you have asked in your question, he will still have been hit as if playing right handed.

Here is some more info
 
The ball must hit in line : The ball must hit the batsman in the region directly between the two wickets. An important exception is that, if the impact is outside the off stump, the batsman can be out LBW if he does not make a genuine attempt to play the ball (that is, if he does not "play a stroke"). If the impact is between wicket and wicket, the playing of a stroke is irrelevant.

The ball must have been going to hit the wicket : If the ball's trajectory suggests that it would have missed the wicket had the batsman not been present, then he should not be out LBW.

I like the last line of that "then he should not be out LBW " but so many of us who have played cricket long enough know  that this is not always the case LOL

No, it depends as to wether it hits you in line with the stumps, if you don't play a shot it doesn't have to hit you in line, if you have played a shot, then it needs to hit you in line, so if it nips back, hits you line, wether you played a shot or not, it's out.

Often players get given out when playing a shot when the ball is angling back in after pitching outside off and going onto hit.

Why would u change your stance to play a reverse sweep , isn't it just a matter of rolling your wrists.
my opinion out LBW for the same reason as sledger daft shot deserves to be fingered if not he is going to cop a barrage of sledging LOL

 I think you mean he gets hit outside the line of his off stumpand the ball is going on to hit the stumps.
