I didn't watch Gibbs knock, but Afridi's demolishing of the Lankans was special coz

Over 30 runs in an over against a test playing side with one WC under their belt.

Not hit within powerplays.

All hit straight.

He came when the side was under pressure with the loss of quick wickets and required to score just around 6.0 an over.

I just watched some footage of Ponting hitting 30 off an over in a Twenty/20 match vs NZ and i am curious to know if anyone has hit more than this at international level in a Twenty/20.

Don't be foolish. Jayasuriya made 29 in 5 balls against Aamir Sohail, and 30 in 6 balls against Chris Harris all by him self.
