Milkman, if bowled at 85mph (not that my mate bowls that fast, but just to be safe!) will it hurt if it hits me on the shins?

Any other thoughts appreciated!
There are some thick shelled tennis-ball type balls which they sell here in Australia by Slazenger that are for nets practice. They are heavy enough to bowl proper pace with, however, if you use them on concrete nets pitches they bounce WAYYYYY too much. There's also those plastic coated, as opposed to leather balls with a full seam. They are okay for you purposes. The key is to get a ball that is as close to 156g as possible.
