you should never take up a stance just cos your coach tells you to. Ok when your 8 years old in your first match, maybe you'll ask for advice. I stand on leg then move across so my feet are planted across the stumps, letting my move the ball to leg with ease. When you take guard at the start of your innings what factors do you take into consideration to choose that particular guard?

I've always taken middle without giving it much thought until recently.Then it dawned on my that my favourite shots were the off drive so I amwondering whether I should be giving myself more room to play theseshots by taking middle & leg or leg?
