If he wasn't injured as much as he is then I'm sure New Zealand would be much higher in the country rankings. I always rate shane bond as the best quicky going around. yeah even better than lee and akhtar. His line and lenght is great and he is seriously quick even though he eased down on it a bit. But i've said this many times that injury has deprived him of a wonderful career.

He swings the ball around very well and has a brilliant inswinger. He can reverse the ball both ways and has one of the best slower yorkers I have seen. He is a silent assassin on a green top.

He is this good, trust me, ask the aussies batsman which quicky gave them the most nightmares in an odi's series and in the world cup 2003.

I am suprised though. Even with the small number of games, he looks to me like a bowler who will pick up many wickets but will also go for many runs.
