CW Cricket Diary
Posted: 11 May 2008 at 11:38pm

Completed day two today of our two day game and we came out victorious! Again, we batted first and made about 220 and the side got dismissed for 93! A spinner and I shared 9 wickets - he got 5 and I got 4-23 from 5 overs. This was definitely a wicket that suited me - I could have made the ball spin square of the wicket.

Anyhow, we enforced the follow on and they got 222 in the second innings. I took 5-73 from 13 overs. So, I got 9 in the match and I was tolded that if I got 10 I would have gotten some money from the cricket association. I could have gotten six but the keeper missed a stumping and the next ball, the last wicket went run out.

Anyhow, we chased down the total for the lost of 5 wickets. It was a very pleasing game for me as I helped my team to a victory and they have given me the role of scoring as well.

Edited by spin wizard - Yesterday at 11:39pm
