Not sure how you came to that 142 metres against Australia.  Gayle's biggest hits against Aussies came at the Oval when Gayle murdered Lee.  The biggest hit then was 105 Metres.  Kieron Pollards biggest six was 124 metres against Shaun Tait in IPL. It was in a competition where if you hit the roof I think you got 12 runs. I remember in 2005 when the Windies took on the Aussies in Brisbane and Powell was bowling to Lee and then Bang, a pull shot right out of the Gabba.  Surrey weren't invincible in the 50's , though they won morecounty championships than anyone else. Yorkshire won their fair shareof titles in that period too. 
    Surrey would be penalised today - the pitches they"prepared" (loose term that)  were tailormade for Laker and Lockeand they won practically every match at the Oval.

Mark Waugh's six over Vettori is the highest i ever saw. Razzaq hit one on Balaji in Karachi when Paksitan lost by 5 runs chasing 350. Thse 2 for me are the highest ever i have seen.
