I rate Ponting as one of the best players of all time, Ricky Ponting is a legend, as good a player as you'd get, yes India is the only country he hasn't done too well in. I would love to see Ponting carry on for another 2-3 years in cricket.

If Australia can find youngsters who out perform Johnson then they might as well drop him, but at the moment I think Johnson is doing enough to keep his place, every now and then he comes up with a match winning performance which is why he is difficult to discard, even in the recent ODI series against SLN the first game and he got a 6 for... you just don't know what to expect from him.

BTW, it is 10:45 p.m in India, must be around 3:45 a.m in AUS and it looks like Mikey is not feeling sleepy at all!!!

Smile but that is bad Spinny! sleeping is important, I feel sleepy all the time in office despite sleeping for around 7 hours each day, anything less than 5 hours and I suffer a head ache for the entire day.

Your's ain't that small either Sam - but one time zone helps methinks!! Talking of sleeping - I gt to sleep no more than 4-5 hours - as my son does not let me sleep and asks me to lay with him whatever he asks!!!

You're a good daddy Zuhair - well done, that can't be said of many these days you know.

And Sam, no worries with me, I make back up for it in food - its why I don't feel tired really.  Meat keeps me energized - I think I eat twice the amount of meat more than the average human being.  Sweets make me unbelievably weak, so I stay away from them.  They usually hype me up then I'm left with a weak feeling after.  Vegetables, I hardly partake of them.  As of now, its not haunting me.  I just hope it doesn't haunt me when I get older.  Meat, Flour and Rice is what I eat most of and plenty water. Big smile

Mashallah, I never knew that you are a dad too Zuhair! I do understand the lack of sleep though, my cousin hardly gets to sleep as her child keeps her awake all the time... I too have to prepare for this, many people these days keep asking me when will I become a dad... and well... Inshallah sometime in 2013.

Drinking plenty of water is really good spinny, and me too loves eating non veg!!! Smile It shouldn't haunt you spinny, but exercising and keeping fit is extremely necessary, I just can't live without exercising.

Well... I hope the mods don't mind we posting all this on SLN v AUS thread!!! Talking of AUS, talking of NSW... what power hitting we saw today from Henriques... and what poor captaincy twice from Darren Ganga, two heart breaks for T&T, and actually they should have won both!

Well said Sam, exercising is very vital.  I think that's what mainly gave me the upper hand to stay up so late and still make it to work the next day.

And yeah, good stuff by Henriques - pay back for what Pollard did to him 2 or 3 years ago.  Ganga have made to blunder of errors in captaincy in the last few days.  No leg side boundary fielder in a T20 game?  You gotta be kidding me.  People do make mistake but this has to be the worse by far - simply unaccepted any reason for that.

But I guess all things happen for reason.  God alone knows how cocky those Trinidadians would get if they won, with the current state of Windies Cricket.  They will feel too cocky (not that they already aren't anyways).  There are more persons in Trinidad than anywhere else that would be happy to see West Indies break up for Trinidad to play by themselves.

Do you think that is an underlying problem with the WI side Spinny, that these players are coming from different countries and regions and just don't unite? (Sorry this is off topic)

To be frank, I've mentioned it before, that WI side on paper is pretty decent. In fact at one stage you had Lara (average almost 55), Chanderpaul (Ave 50), Sarwan (average 45) and Gayle (average 40) yet they couldn't win a test!
