The best inning I have ever seen from Sangakkara. He has so much time to play a shot. I am very disappointing to see a bad decision made by Rudi. Malinga also provide some entertainment in the end.
The worry factor for australia is Macgill, so many fulltoss he bowled.

A pretty fascinating 2nd innings from the Lankans. Kumar Sangakkara played a magnificent knock. When he and Malinga were at the crease, he was striking them superbly and also, it's one of the best knocks I've ever seen. Pretty poor decision in the end from Rudi. Malinga played some outrageous strokes and that just showed how good the pitch was.

The keeper Jayawardena proved that the left alone is the worst shot in the book. How many times have we seen that happening of late? Anyways, a whitewash was always on the cards and Lee to me was the star of the series for Aussie. Their major concern should be MacGill and I've got a feeling this could be the end of his career by the time the Aussie season finishes. If he plays against India, he ain't gonna have an easy time.

and how bad the lankan batsman were.

I don't think Australia will make the mistake of playing Macgill against India.

The 2 Jayawardena are the ones too blame in the 2nd innings. Vandort tried a positive thing but was too late on the ball, Jayasuriya was his normal self but that one kept a tad lower, Silva got a goodish one and yeah, Atapattu can be blamed too - when hooking, you got to hook them real hard!

Why BFM?
Hogg is much better. He has troubled Indians more and I am sure Hogg will be more successful.

it's not BFM. Wink
I said he will be more successful than macgill but still not very successful. Australian tracks don't help spin as much anyways.

Don't be fooled CC, as a spinner, I prefer a ball bouncing and spinning and if possible, coming on fast too! It's quite Clear that Warne loved the Gabba because of that!

I expect only the quickies to do the major damage against the Indians.

Without Warne Ponting's going to have to use his seamer's to greater effect- that goes without saying. I'd like to see Hogg have a go, MacGill is clearly out of form and in any case Lee and co will be relied upon to do a majority of the damage.
Good one Graham!

MacGill has basically been told to get himself into shape if he wants to play in the India series.

He's been struggling with hand and knee injuries, but is under pressure, especially after the second innings performance against Sri Lanka.

A tad harsh that , he still looked slimmer than Ranatunga after fasting.

a Tasmanian player who hasn't played for Tasmania in over 18 months...sounds like a specialist fielder to me

I also forgot to add the main tigers squad were in NSW getting ready for yesterdays state game.
