very very dissapointing performance by bangladesh. they seriously need to improve on this. they are ok at home and subcontinent but on these overseas tours they are exposed very badly.

The home side won this in a canter , barely breaking sweat. None of the
Bangladeshi batsmen could cope with the pace and bounce and rarely got
into line. Their bowlers lack penetration , even on a pitch that
offered something. Not sure what kind of workout this is for SA ,
with Australia just over the horizon. For the likes of Morkel ,
whose radar was off , it's benefitial , but I'm not sure the batters
can take much out of this .
2-0 after another innings defeat , inside 4 days.

Funny goings on at Centurion Park. Bangladesh fought a fine
rearguard action to reach 250 yesterday afternoon and have the home
side on 156-5 ! The wicket is dry , the ball's going through the
top and the spinner Shakib al Hasan is having a field day! 3
wickets already including Kallis and AB de Villiers. AB went for his
1st test match duck and Kallis made just 24 before being bowled off his
pads.
Game on and one
must ask the question - with such a dry pitch , why did SA go in with
an all seam attack ?

I should think we'll see Ashwell Prince/Graeme Smith turning their arms over in the second innings, given the way Mehrab got the ball to turn in his first over.

SA back in control thanks to Prince and Boucher thanks to an unbeaten partnership of 142. The lead isn't much so Bangladesh is by no means out of the game. A lead of 200 and unleash their spinners on SA and things might get interesting. Well, if they bowl next innings the way they are bowling now, well, they won't trouble anyone. They look quite flat at the moment.

Unbeaten hundreds by both Prince and Boucher have put the game firmly
in the home team's favour. If they'd have stayed out there all
night (without floodlights) I think they'd still be there this morning!
More torture in store for the visitors today and that's before
they have to face Steyn and company.

South Africa win by an innings and 48 runs in a completely one sided affair in the end. Shakib Al Hasan has been Bangladesh brightest prospect lately and he'd be very proud of that sixer, his second in tests!

another pathetic display of cricket by bangladesh, although they played well in the frirst two days, as always they lost it big time later.
i'm happy to see ashwell prince get the MOS award. not long agao his place was under scrutiny but he has come up with some very strong performances. also good to see boucher back in form with the bat.

Yea Boucher a big plus. A test century afer 5 years! He must be reieved too. Pretty much the expected result. One or two batsmen were bound to get 40's or 50's from the bangladeshi's but they were never going to win.

No sweat for the home side and one has to ask if this is the type of
test they need before meeting the Aussies. Spending time in the
middle is obviously good , but when the attack (Shakib apart) is so
ordinary it doesn't mean very much. Nothing they can do anout it
though , the schedules are drawn up by the ICC.
The series in Oz will be worth watching , but if SA are going to be
competitive their attack just has to bowl tighter - far too many 4
balls in this series. Bowl like that in Perth and they'll do a lot of
fetching.
