Nope, but he's 17, in 2 years time I reckon he'll be better than bridges, in fact he's the trainee I posted earlier on this thread who looks like this

Daniel Marrison - 17 yo, BT Rating=7,175
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, proficient batting form, strong bowling form, energetic
destructive player with abysmal leadership skills and worthless experience.
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: respectable Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: woeful Consistency: abysmal
Fielding: woeful

fielding pop this week

He's not good enough really, most of the u19 candidates are proficient by now, he 's a low respectable  with poor secondarys.

Your New Zealand player is differnet though, because of his high secondaries he might get in.

Marrison's pretty good though

I brought this bloke yesterday, put 3 nets on him (2Xbat 1XFit) and he has popped twice. Going to be getting alot more nets now I'd say.

Phil Jackson (1057541)
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, proficient batting form, woeful bowling form, energetic
defensive player with superb leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For:Kerms krusaders ;-)
Nationality:South Africa
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating:5,878
Wages:£560 p/w

Stamina: proficient Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: competent Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: worthless Consistency: worthless
Fielding: worthless

From Respect/Med/Med to Proficent/Comp/Med i'll take certainly, pity he is South African because he is going to be getting alot of training, in one swoop he has strengthened my squad alot. He is now my joint best batsman.

If he has popped twice after his first nets session with you then I think you found a vendor who didn't appreciate how close he was to popping, or else common sense would have seen him keep him then sell him for quite a bit more after the pops. Nice one for you of course.

I saw that his wage was high for a med primary so I thought it was worth a chance, as it happens it seems to have paid off, and I finally have a trainee worthy of the title. Now however I have to balance training him to a high standard and using him (as one of my best batsmen) in order to stay up, I have two must win games comming up so i'll likely use him for those then load up on the nets for the games where i'll get trounced anyway, I have fairly suitable backup for him, nice to have what will be, with any luck a nice reliable opening batsman.

actually he might have just been pulled from the academy with no plans on doing anything other than selling him... but still rare to find a transferee with so little needed to pop him - nicely done :)

He was brought up from the academy a month ago acording to his profile, played one match in which he didn't bat, bowl or take a catch and then was sold on, interestingly his wage hasnt changed at all, either have my other two trainees, maybe some form of bug.

Either way i'm happy, havent had any signifigant pops for weeks now, was due something decent.
