If you could bowl that fast and prove it then all you would have to do is send the proof to any county side and they would snap you up in mins and have you on the way to becomming a pro cricketer.

I just turned 13, lol.. and play for west district of scotland. I am pretty sure and determind to get into scotland this year or the following season. I just bought some dumbells a week ago and planning to build my pace with them ;)

To be honest your action is probably more important then strength when
it comes to speed, strength is useful obviously but bowling is all
about rythm.

Weight training at under 16 can mess up your muscles. Press-ups and sit-ups are of much more use, you could really damage yourself by weight training.

I have a friend who is 14, who's been playing East Of Scotland since P7, and played Scotland since U13. He has recently changed his bowling action from Fast (for our age) to Off Break (with a lot of variations.) He's recently made his debut for our school 1st XI, where he scored 55 at the age of 14.
I really think this boy has potential. |

Yes i know that, but all the coachs say i have the perfect action for my height which i don't know if it is true, but i think the only thing to do now is improve my pace.
