Yup. In the 2 run win match Bret Lee was certainly good under pressure.

You should have made it a bit more obvious 70_degrees_spin. The timing wasn't all that perfect.

I think that Dravid recently proved that he is one of the best under pressure in the warm-up game against South Africa. Although not being able to take India to victory, he stood till the end and nearly got us the winning runs.

Happens. Happened many times. He has been bowled more times than caught or any other type of wicket except RUN OUTs.

Can't you all realise by now that many indians are more vulnerable to the inswingers than the outswingers. Even the great sachin can be found with a gap between there at times. Why do you think they perish on seaming wickets.

No one still came up with stats to support Inzy and Dravid are the best under pressure (I go for Azaruddin, S. Waugh, Dean Jones and Aravinda de Silva)
Don't argue with fools. They'll drag you down to their level and then beat you with experiance

Every one is looking at the batsman with great batting talent to be the best under pressure, actually as batsmen they are supposed to do their work nothing fancy. I solute the courage of nightwatchmen (poor bowlers) who are sent in to bat under pressure usually in bad light, thats actually batting under pressure, and the two names standing out have been        J. glispee and M. hoggard.

Lara is the best under pressure for me! I mean, the man has been carrying the Windies side on his shoulder for years. Every match, he is under pressure to score runs. If he fails, the whole team fails.

He was in immense pressure against England in the fourth Test in the Caribbean and then made a 400*. I know the pitch was fantastic but it takes real courage to do that. Look at the Windies in the caribbean against india when he made 120. The track was bad and it was up to him to save them. I remember an innings against the aussies were he made 153* and won the match for them. He and Walsh was in to the end and he made it for them thanks to Healy as well. LOL

Anothe E.G, recently in australia as well where he made 221. He was under great pressure there as well.

No arguments... he does play well against us in particular because he takes on Warne. I still believe McGrath has the upperhand on him though.

Yeah, McGrath is a legend and since I am watching cricket, he is always up there. Lara is a great player of spin, a matter of fact, the best I have seen against spin. The man has done damage to the 2 greatest spinner alive, Murali and Warne. McGrath is a cooler of many great batters! A wonderful bowler he is!

Perhaps you have not seen Messers Navjost Singh Sidhu and Arjuna Ranatunga I suppose. These two were spinner-killers. These two has taken Murali and Warne to cleaners many times in Iternational and domestic cricket

Well Spin as it stands the windies are not doing well in this 3rd test match so far against Pak so let's hope that their position puts some pressure on Lara so that he can make a big score for the team in the windies second innings (God willing).

Well, Arjuna I guess never did face Murali in international cricket (obviouslyt b/c they r both Sri Lankan) I would like you all to take a look at Michael Clarke. In India, on his first ever tour he was absolutely creaming Kumble and the Indian spinners. He is a fine young player of spin and uses his feet expertly. Lara is a legend, he plays spin better then many. The best players of spin are usually wristy, play with the spin, use their feet well, use their bat (none of this padding up crap), pick the ball out of the hand and off the pitch, don't always necessarily hit in the air, and play with soft hands.

I think in Tests that Kumble is very good. Tendulakr and Lara being great allround batsman can do anything at anytime also have to be uncluded. Kapil Dev and Viv Richards have been forgotten. Sehwag can get out under pressure.
