Oh yeah !!! You forgot that one 70 degree spin. Those sixes were magnificent if you saw them. That was clean hitting at its very best!

No it shouldnt, stop saying it should, there is ali brown who got more runs, I'm not going to give it to the lower score, not any day. Plus they did lose the match after all so it must have been a stunning pitch. It isn't as good as the achievements above, not a single 1.

Astle's 222 is 10 times much better than ali 268. If you do a pitch comparison its the same situation and I also heard that the oval boundaries were shortened as well.

otherwise this list would be endless.

Ali Brown 268* off 160 balls.

Nathan Astle 222 off 168 balls.

Astles was done against Hoggard, Flintoff, Giles and caddi£k.

Browns was done against Croft, Cosker kasprowicz and Davies.

I can see why people think Astles was better but Brown got more runs and still holds the record, which is why I chose it, for that reason and that reason only.

No, the boundaries are pretty short though. Also why is 222 better than 268 not out, wheres the logic in that.

Because its imternational mate, just now you all will say greame hick is a better batter than sarwan because of his county stats. International is a much bigger level than county.

So, whats the point. Warnie didn't play at his best with hampshire this year but still his international performances were great. County cricket aint no where near international cricket!!!

Yes it is. If you look at peoples averages 90% of peoples first class averages are 3 or 4 more than test match.

Come on guys Davo's ton has to be there against West Indies pace attack in 67 balls. With no support. Not better then Afridi's but from an Associate nation. I still can't beileve how he was caught by Drakes.

Oh yeah Abu, that one was another special one. The list can go on and on forever.

Thats was a real good knock to be honest. Even though I supported the Windies, I enjoyed it.

It was a weak team he was playing and there was no pressure on him because they knew they were going to lose.
