YEa one time my father invited a south african to watch a S.A vs SL match, and the dude was liek ohhh here comes ZULU! i was about 10 or so, but i was trying to find a jersey that said ZULu the whole match practically until my dad finally asked him who zulu was Very funny. Klusener was a good all rounder. Bt this is for best ODI player ever. In my opinion is its hard becasue its bwling, battng and fielding basically. If there is a player who has sachin's batting skills/wasims bowling skills/jontyrhodes fielding skills, hit me!

Sachin with the bat, Wasim with the ball, but I'd have to say that Sachin's probably the better of the 2, nearly 40 ODI centuries is simply incredible.

Nope. He can fluently speak the Zulu language. It is a group of languages used by Bushmen tribes and its derivatives in Eastern South Africa if I am not mistaken. Sledge, you could tell us bit more about it?

Congo jungle is 6000km away from SAF. Probably Kalahari desert or Okawango Swamp may be a better idea

When a person says someone whom he feels is the best, just agree to it because it is his/her opinion. Argue only if it is something weird or unbelievable.

wasim was a true legend of cricket and for me the best ODI player ever.

Allan Border is a legend of cricket himself, he said " If i had another life i would love to come back as Wasim Akram"

Curtley Amrbose " Wasim has been the best bowler of my generation"

Jayasuriya " I think Wasim is the toughest and best bowler I have faced"

The list goes on, but its all a matter of personal opinion, for me its Wasim but i appreciate for another person sachin or someone else will be the best.

Wasims record isn't mind shattering, i'm surprised he got such good praise, not saying he wasnt the greatest left arm bowler ever or anything but I would far rather have Richard Hadlee or Dennis Lilee in my team, wouldnt u?

His record isn't mind shattering? What Wasim are you talking about the two guys you mentioned were absolute greats but I think Wasim commanded far better things with the ball, he made the new and old ball talk at will, he knew what he wanted to do with the ball and did it.  He spend most of his time playing in sub continent and sharjah picthes which are considered a fast bowlers graveyard, thereofore his achievements are even more special considering this fact.

Only batsmen that took Wasim to cleners are Gilchrist, Jayasuriya, Tendulkar last but not the least Aravinda de Silva.
(Evrey great paki bowler from Imran Khan to Shoaib Akthar have had fearsome bangins from Aravinda)

So it shows that Wasim is not way above the other bowlers of his generation. Is Wasim miles ahead of Murali, McGrath, Kumble and Donald in ODI's. Answer is a big definite NO.

Micheal bevan has been the best ODi batsman in the history of cricket, wasim has been the best bowler and jonty has been the best fielder! As far as allrounders are concerned we may have a tie between, pollock, kallis and freddie as to who is the best!

spinners we will again have a tie between murali, vetorri, saqlain and harbhajan to who is the best!

Sachin arguably the best batsman in the cricket history but head to head he falls behind Beavan in ODI!

so far so good!
