The best ODI knock considering all factors....has to be Viv Richards 189! Amazing knock!

Anwars 194 was enjoyable as it was against india in india! and Afridi's 37 ball  hundred was brutal!

Simple facts that
1. They were chasing 333 (at that time a mammoth total)
2. 5 down when he came to bat
3. Sheer will and commitment by a plyer not even as close as gifted as Lara
4. What that innings did to maind set of Sri Lankan Cricketers and public

I think it was Kapil Dev's 175. Zimbabwe was a good team that time. Better than now. the score was 44/7 and he took it too 266/9.

I.V.A Richards 189 is also a really amazingly amazing one.

HH Gibbs's 175 at the Wanderers was very good.

S Jayasuriya's 189 was one of the best.

Inzamam's 100 two years ago against India. The ODI series before Sehwag's and Dravid 309 and 270 respectbly. ery fine knock though they lost.

Overall I would say I was Kapil Dev's because if India lost that match they would have been out of the World Cup, instead that match gave us confidence and we ended up winning the World Cup. Viv Richards was equally good. Both are the best I would say.

The best I have seenis Hashan Tillekaratne's 100 off 100 balls in Sharjah aginst WI. WI scores 333, with Lara scoring 169. With score 103 for 5 Hashan leashed out an astonishing attack on West Indies fielders by the way of his running between wickets. He wouls have easily beaten Bevan, de Villiers or Jonty for that matter on that day. He was electric on the pitch. SL lost by 4 runs, but it was a memorable match, and that stated SL's up rise to the world cup in 1996

Thats an incredible knock, one question though. Has anyone ever scored a double hundred in an ODI

Yeh i would also say Gibbs' 175. It was something very special, along with Pontings' innings too.

i am going to have to say Gibbs 175, as this is one of the only big innings ive seen live, followed by pontings in the same match, but you cant take anything from smith either!

i would also rate kluseners in the semi final of 99 world cup, as sa could have lost that match without his innings!

boo ha ha!

Im not sure if any one of you will remember but michael bevans knock in dhaka rest of world v asia.

That was a hell of a knock and match which asia won by one run.
