Hi all,

I've posted stills from my delivery. Could someone have a look at tell me if I'm too low as among people I've shown we feel I'm not staying tall enough and allowing my knee to bend?

Any other thoughts on how I could improve things?

Cheers,

Ian

What you've got to answer is, Is the way you're bowling working for you?

It's going ok but radar has been a bit off. I think I might be trying to force pace into the ball rather than using the action

Pace should come from a good run up building the pace as you get closer to to crease followed by a good arm action. Work on this and you'll then have no need to try and force pace.

A couple of observations - pic 1...your left arm has come down too soon, keep it up longer then pull it down in the direction of the batsman. Pics 3, 4 & 5 - left knee is bent reducing your height of release. Pics 5 & 6 - head is falling away to the left, u need to keep your head more level and body straighter at release to aid accuracySmile

Backwardsquare made some good observations there and I agree with him.

iansimcox, you seem a big fella so in order for your knee not to bend that much, you may need to take a slower run into the crease and work up the pace from your action and body strength like Flintoff - He's a big man so can't run in too fast as he could injure himself while landing on the crease.
In troubled times, being philosophical helps a great deal, it helps you to remain sane and not do any further damage.
