    Posted: 27 May 2007 at 10:15am
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Donald Bradman's first-class debut, the Australian Cricket Board has decided to invite the four oldest test-playing nations (England, South Africa, the West Indies and New Zealand) to play them in a quintrangular one-day international tournament. The tournament will be hosted in stadiums all over Australia (including other venues from the six state grounds) to celebrate the tournament and promises to be a thriller.

The teams will be put into one group, where each team will play the other twice in their group with the top four of the five teams going into the semi-finals. The winners of the semi's will then play each other in a best of 3 final. There will be 18-man squads in this sim and each team is open to management. The team that wins will be presented with the Bradman Cup.

The competition will air live on Cricket World and 50% of the profits made from hosting this one-off tournament will go to charity.

Teams
Australia - Tonks007 (squad named)
England - The Tyke (squad named)
South Africa - PaulNixon1 (squad named)
West Indies - Nottsjoe (squad named)
New Zealand - Bond2322 (squad named)

You pick an 18-man squad and then you have to pick the teams for each game as well as replacing injured players etc. (there will be injuries in the sim).

OK cheers so just the Australia squad from Tonks to name, Nottsjoe I'm sorry but you'll have to remove Bradshaw because he's now retired.

All the teams are now taken so I'll be adding them into the sim now and if Tonks names his squad soon then we could even get this underway tomorrow.

What I'll do is put down the injuries in the evening before simming them the next day so you can see them before I sim the games.

I'm going to kick off after I've put Australia into the sim (which should be around 10-15 minutes).
