I'm not looking foward to injuries, I like the balance of my side just the way it is ! Are injuries common from past experiences Freddie ?

Well you can expect that at least one member of your side will pick up an injury during the tournament.

We play each other twice from what I've heard so you'll get your chance at revenge.
We may play each other again more than once depending on results.

Because PaulNixon has yet to post his squad then I'm giving him until 12pm otherwise I will use his team that he used in the game against New Zealand.

PaulNixon failed to name his squad in time so he automatically keeps the same team which lost to New Zealand. May I also point out that failure to name a squad in two successive matches (or rounds) will result in you being sacked and another member will take over your team.

At The WACA the Australians' total proved too high for the West Indies to beat after a valiant effort from both sides.
In a rain affected game at Hobart which saw the match reduced to 34 overs a side England came out on top after a closely fought encounter.

Hey Freddie, even though my team won, it is not the side that i actually asked for! I brought in the extra bowler (Hogg) and dropped Hodge as you will see a couple of posts before the match results! Easy to confuse the two i know! Can i please have this side for my next match please?
In Batting order:
1.Gilchrist
2.Hayden
3.Ponting
4.Hussey
5.Symonds
6.Clarke
7.Hogg (left arm spinner)
8.Lee
9.Bracken
10.Tait
11.Clark
Not this side:
AC Gilchrist
ML Hayden RT Ponting A Symonds BJ Hodge (Batsman) MJ Clarke MEK Hussey B Lee NW Bracken SW Tait SR Clark Edited by tonks007 - 01 June 2007 at 1:10am |

Yeah, sorry mate I must have gone wrong there, I didn't actually see Hogg in your line-up as I was looking for him at number 9, you can't have Hussey for the next match though as he has a stomach bug, although he only misses one game. Edited by Freddie - 01 June 2007 at 9:05am |

Bondy didn't name a squad so New Zealand automatically keep the same side. I'll be simming the games in a minute.

New Zealand win close match on a poor pitch.
Australia chase down target with an over to spare.
