I reckon we've got a good chance of making real progress this season. We know we have what it takes to win in the reduced format of the game (after winning last years 2020, and there are a few players left from previous C & G success) and we have some very promising one day players coming through the ranks. It might be too soon for us to win it this season though, so I'll go for Warwickshire to win for Nick Knight in his farewell season. |

I take it back. I forgot we simply cannot beat Gloucestershire these days. 105/4 chasing 329. We need a miracle now. Mind, with Parsons still there, anything can happen, and we have Blackwell to come. I'd promote caddi£k, as he's on fire with the ball his confidence might lead to a 10 ball 30 or so which might put us back on track. |

All out for 199, Parsons hitting a valiant but ultimately in vain 65. No support from anyone. So far this season we've had: embarrasing loss by an innings --> crushing one day victory --> crushing four day victory --> embarrassing loss. Life is never dull in the West Country.

Wonderful win for us today against Surrey. Woody with 92, Suppiah with 63 and then 4 wickets to take the game away from Surrey. Never thought he had it in him, so fair play to him.
Nice for Cameron White to get runs and wickets after having been dropped by both Australia and Australia A recently.  |
