Ah ok. Thanks for that clarification. Hopefully that money is motivation for these kids to keep playing, because it looks like their focus has moved from playing the game to money and this is exemplified by the contract disputes. I'd take nothing to play for Australia.

I agree Milk playing cricket is a big thing you go around the world for free even after that you get so much money its a gift been a cricketer still people act like they have got nothing.
Rohit Sharma - What the world has seen is gear 1, gear speed 2,3,4,5,7,8,9 to be witnessed in IPL only.

Quite right Mystery and Milks, you get free transportation, free food, free accomodation plus you get pay to play - I'll glady play just for match fee and no retainer.
 
Cricket is still the game of the people back here but sadly, it seems that money is the motivation needed for the guys to play to their potential.  Hopefully, the retainer contracts now on offer will be an incentive for first class players to step up their game.
In troubled times, being philosophical helps a great deal, it helps you to remain sane and not do any further damage.
